# Set Storage Config

Bring your own S3 bucket: MeetStream writes bot media (audio, video, transcripts, metadata) directly into your bucket. Only provider `aws` is supported; S3-compatible stores (MinIO, Cloudflare R2) work via `endpoint_url`. For `read_write` mode MeetStream performs a live HeadBucket validation; for `write_only` it writes probe objects under each configured prefix. Config changes do not move already-written media.

- `provider` (enum, required) — Only aws is supported
  - Allowed values: `aws`
- `bucket_name` (string, required)
- `region` (string, required)
- `access_key_id` (string, required)
- `secret_key` (string, required)
- `access_mode` (enum, optional, default: read_write) — write_only makes MeetStream fetch endpoints return 403 for media in your bucket
  - Allowed values: `read_write`, `write_only`
- `prefix` (string, optional, default: meetstream) — Base key prefix. Leading/trailing slashes stripped; '..' segments rejected. Files are keyed \{prefix}/\{bot\_id}\_\<file>.
- `prefixes` (object, optional) — Per-artifact-category prefix overrides
  - `audio` (string, optional)
  - `video` (string, optional)
  - `transcript` (string, optional)
  - `metadata` (string, optional)
- `endpoint_url` (string, optional) — Custom S3-compatible endpoint (MinIO, Cloudflare R2). Omit for AWS S3.
